Closing of the Bones

Imagine sinking into pure bliss during a Closing of the Bones Ceremony—1 to 1.5 hours of you-time wrapped in warmth, intention, and nurturing touch. Here's the vibe:

We start by setting the scene—think soft lighting, calming scents, and grounding conversation. Whether you're here for self-love, 'me-time,' or just to breathe deeply, this is your moment to set intentions.

You’ll get cozy on a mat as we guide you through gentle breathwork and soothing touch on your head, feet, and legs.

Then comes the magic: We’ll wrap you in a Rebozo cloth, gently swaying your body to release tension, inviting balance and calm. Throughout the session, we’ll incorporate healing touches—focused on your head, heart, womb, and feet—while the soothing rhythm of a drum connects you to your body’s energy.

Wrapped and relaxed, you’ll enjoy quiet time with calming music, letting your mind drift and your body absorb the love. As we unwrap the cloth, from toes to head, we’ll gently guide you back to the present, finishing with grounding touch on your joints.

This ceremony is about more than physical relaxation—it’s a sacred pause, a way to reconnect with yourself, honor your journey, and embrace renewal. Traditionally offered postpartum, it’s perfect for anyone navigating life transitions, fertility challenges, grief, or just craving a deep sense of closure and harmony.

It’s your invitation to come home to your body, rediscover balance, and wrap yourself in a little extra love.

Kind Words:

I recently had the privilege of experiencing a "Closing of the Bones" ceremony at home, facilitated by Brooke from Birth Mate. To be honest, I was a bit unsure at first—it's not every day you dive into something so intimate and unfamiliar. However, I took a leap of faith and I am so glad I did!

From the moment Brooke arrived, I felt an incredible sense of calm. Her warm presence and soothing energy immediately put me at ease. As we moved through the ceremony, I found myself enveloped in a profound feeling of connection and support. It was as if I was truly being held by another woman, which is such a beautiful and rare experience.

The whole process was both emotional and uplifting, leaving me feeling renewed and validated. I can't express enough how much I recommend this experience to anyone who may be feeling the need for closure, healing, or simply a moment of reflection in their journey.

Thank you, Brooke, for guiding me through this transformative experience. I left the ceremony feeling lighter and more connected to myself, and I will forever be grateful for that. If you're considering this, just do it—you won't regret it!
